Dr. Chris Ekeh is the founder/General Overseer of Word and Spirit Assembly (WASA). He is also the founder and President of Life Changing Prayer Ministry, a personal ministry, solely on evangelism. He is a dynamic and vibrant preacher, a prophet and a teacher.

He believes that problems of life are not only answerable to prayers but by the availability of GRACE of God upon a man’s life. You can’t preach what you don’t know. Dr. Chris is a living example of GRACE, that’s why his slogan has always been, “You may not be of a noble birth, but when the GRACE of God locates you, it takes you higher than those of a royal family. If God campaigns for you, men will vote for you.”
He is a man with a unique heart of compassion. He believes that handwork and determination, coupled with daily solitude and prayer is the key to life success. GOD has been using him to bring salvation to many, deliverance to the afflicted and oppressed, and joy to many souls and families etc.
Dr. Chris Ekeh got born again on the 23rd of February, 1991, at a tender age when his mates are being infatuated with youthful exuberance. He joined the missionary team of the Scripture Union of Nigeria, Enugu in 1991. He joined the Evangelical Fellowship in Anglican Communion {EFAC} as an evangelism team member in St Luke’s Anglican Church Ogui in Enugu state in 1991.

In readiness of what GOD planned for his life, He became the founder and president of the Christian Fellowship in his secondary school, Ugwuaji community Secondary School Enugu. Dr. Chris Ekeh was called into the ministry in 1995. He was the founder and president of school outreach {School evangelism} and New Anointing Fellowship both based in Enugu state. The call of GOD for Dr. Chris to start an interdenominational ministry in Lagos came to him while he was at Victory International Bible College. Three years after, while at WOFBI, in November 1999, God reconfirmed the calling. This was after God has spoken to him personally on his commission on the 7th of August 1999. He started the Interdenominational service on the 5th of February 2000, under the umbrella, Word and Spirit Assembly, a name God revealed to him while praying in a room somewhere in Apapa Lagos. On the 15th of April, 2001, WASA started as a full-fledged church based on the directive from God, because Dr. Chris always follows the dictates of his God.
Dr. Chris is a prophet with a very strong prophetic mandate. His prophetic grace is with accuracy. He was recently awarded as the prophet of the year by Testimony TV. Based on his selfless service to humanity, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF/UN), under the United Nations awarded him an Ambassador of Peace. In May 2014, he received the LIGHT AWARD based on his relentless effort to the service of God. His unique heart of compassion cannot be ignored. He has been a hope for the hopeless and rendering unquantifiable help to people. He took it a notch higher by celebrating his 40th birthday in a different dimension by visiting the prisons, the motherless homes and homes of Special Need Children.

Dr. Chris is a spiritual father, a visionary leader, a man with the word from God, the prophet with solution. God has used him and is still using him to liberate and transform lives. Through him, God has been raising the dead, the blind has been receiving their sight, mad people has been healed, he has restored many homes that would have been scattered as a result of childlessness because the couples always come back to dedicate these wonderful children God gave to them by a word of Prophecy. An encounter with him is just what you need for a turnaround in your life and situations because he has all it takes to transform your life.
