^“₂Feed the flock of God among you, taking the oversight, not by compulsion, but willingly; nor for base gain, but readily; ₃nor as lording it over those allotted to you by God, but becoming examples to the flock. ₄And when the Chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a never-fading crown of glory” (1 Peter 5:2).

 

 

Ø Assisting the head pastor in the fulfillment of the vision of the church.

Ø Being diligent in prayer, as to understand the spiritual heartbeats of the Head Pastor.

Ø Visitations of the members, in liaison with the Head Pastor.

Ø Co-ordination of the church workers – especially the coordination of the prayer department, the welfare/Charity department, and the Music department.

Ø Holding regular group prayers for the wellbeing of the Head pastor, and the wellbeing of the church.

Ø Holding regular group Bible Studies.

Ø Coordinating the counseling ministry of the Head Pastor.

Ø Setting the spiritual tone, by example, for other members of the church staff.

Ø Keeping record of average attendance to services/meetings, and alerting the Head pastor concerning increment/decrement, and also noting the cessation of attendance by any member of the church.

Ø Holding out for the Head Pastor in his absence, in preaching and in administration.
