“1Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. 2My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: 3Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God” (Deuteronomy 32:1-3).
Members of this department are responsible for the following:
Ø Ensure that the dates, venues, and time of forthcoming programs are received from the pastor, months ahead of these programs.
Ø Find out from the appropriate church authority – in writing – what kind of publicity is to be carried out towards an upcoming program.
Ø Liaise with the church authority on the electronic or print media houses to patronize, for the production of the publicity materials.
Ø Liaise with the selected electronic media house – Television, Radio or Internet – on the preparation of the publicity materials.
Ø Liaise with the selected print media house – Newspapers, Publishers, Printers, etc – on the preparation of the publicity materials.
Ø Evaluate costs of these materials, get approval from the church authority, and apply for them.
